Posters of the ‘Broadcast Exercise’

Last week, I was trying to respond to the video through personal interpretations and represent it to show that individual understanding as someone who has experienced and is familiar with this exercise. However, based on last week’s feedback from the group, more information need to be added as translating the original video, so that people who‘re not familiar with this exercise can better understand the context behind. That’s when I felt the need to translate and reconsidered the purpose of translating.

The video is an official exercise video, which was designed, filmed and published by the authority, aims to propagate a specific exercise to all students in China to practice and follow. Behind this sequence of body movements, are actually a much complicated political, cultural and historical situation. So here, I’m trying to bring out the hidden information/context and unfold them through a form of a poster(with diagrams and annotations).
