The material I chose is an official video of a national broadcast exercise in China. It‘s a major form of exercise in all schools in China: Students are required to gather in an open space(an exercise ground) to follow the broadcast audio and do the exercise together.
  1. The footprint diagram is made to show the movements of each individual in an limited square space.

2. The graph filled with text is made to show detailed movement instructions of this exercise. In the video, these information are unclear, as the voice in the audio only counted numbers rhythmically(shown on the left of the graph).

3. In the third experiment, I’m trying to recreate the video through a flat background and a lifeless 3D figure, to only focus on the sequence of movements and deleting the original context.
